Abstract
We have tackled some pretty big projects in this book to get the hang of a handful of 3D applications and utilities that enable us to make new objects on our personal 3D printers. Th is has allowed us to expand that toolbox that let’s us quickly move from a simple idea to holding a fi nished object in our hands. Hopefully, it has given you the confidence to try new applications and accomplish new ideas as you move onwards from the basic tutorial projects. In this chapter, we will present a couple of additional project ideas to take your 3D design skills even further. We won’t dwell on the applications as we talk about these projects; instead, we will focus on how the models are made and why. Consider this a bonus round of new directions to take the skills that you have learned so far.
