Abstract
This chapter gives working examples of popular web page enhancements using various CSS background techniques. Many types of backgrounds are covered, including images, gradients, multiple backgrounds, rollover menu buttons, and watermarks. We will also look at the creation of multiple backgrounds using the new CSS3 background properties.
