Abstract
Visitors will only explore a web site if it is attractive and useful. Some web site owners ask for a site that pleases them, without considering what will please their site’s visitors. Such a site makes the owner happy, but it may do nothing for the visitor or for the owner’s business. Site owners should ask themselves what the site will do for visitors. They should ask several people what they would hope to find if they accessed the site.
