Abstract
I had been using mind mapping techniques for more than a year when I first met Paul Culmsee at the Best Practices Conference in San Diego. Paul showed me a whole new world of mapping that took what I had been doing to an entirely new level. He led me into the world of “wicked problems and dialogue mapping,” which he had learned from Jeff Conklin. This chapter will give you an introduction to the material I learned from Jeff and Paul, but I am going to limit it to illustrating one specific aspect of a SharePoint project: scoping.
