Abstract
Adding content to your SharePoint site through Visual Studio is a great way to begin looking at developing solutions. You can declaratively create content and deploy it out to your SharePoint site. This chapter will show you how to set up content types, site columns, lists, and event receivers. Together, these can be used to set up the SharePoint content for your site.
