Abstract
The Map Kit framework is an incredibly powerful and useful toolkit that adds immense functionality to the location services that iOS devices offer. The frameworkâs key focus is the ability to place a user-interactive map in an application, with countless other features expanding functionality, allowing for a nearly entirely customizable mapping interface. iOS 5 has continued to improve the capabilities of Map Kit, improving developer capability and making map-based applications increasingly dynamic and useful.
