Abstract

With your platform, message statements, and budget in hand, you are ready to start producing your campaign literature. Ask your message team to help you craft the statements you’ll use on each item that you produce. The variety of campaign literature pieces you produce will depend on the size of your budget and the scope of your race. They may be big enough to warrant producing all of the pieces discussed in this chapter: doorhangers, postcards, letters, posters, bumper stickers, giveaways, T-shirts, and yard signs. Or, your race may be limited enough in budget and scope that you really need only one piece of literature to help you win. Most likely, your race will fall somewhere in between, and you’ll pick and choose the most cost-effective pieces for your situation.
