Abstract

You read in Chapter 1 that people won’t care about you until they can see how much you care about them. People also will care about you if they can see that you have passion for a topic, a cause, or a group of people about which they also care. There may be an action that you are passionate about seeing occur in your community, state, or even in our country. If people also want to see that action implemented, then they are more likely to care about you too. Knowing what you are passionate about allows you to tell your personal story and your reason for running in a way that creates interest and generates potential votes.
