Abstract

The Dock. The Finder. Spotlight. These are basic parts of Mac OS X that a new user has to learn soon in his process of becoming a Mac user. And once he does learn about these vital components, he will probably soon forget about them. Oh, he doesn’t forget they exist. It’s just that they’re used so constantly that they essentially fade into the background, unthought of in the same way that the wallpaper and art in your office quickly fades away so that you just don’t see them.
