Your Own Content Pipeline: Importing 3D Art Assets into Your iPhone Game

Abstract

Before 3D models can be used in an iPhone game, they have to be converted into a format suitable for distribution and rendering. This process is particularly complex for 3D games which require specialized digital content creation tools to create art assets. The question is: how to export 3D models from software packages such as Maya, 3ds Max, and Blender and use them in an iPhone game?
