Abstract
Web Slices offer an easy way for developers to syndicate site content in both new and existing applications, all without requiring major changes to application and page design. I began this chapter by introducing the concept of Web Slices, the hAtom microformat structure, and the basic installation process for users. I continued by discussing styles, alternative sources, and authentication scenarios; and I ended with a quick run-through of some more advanced topics regarding installation and defaults. I hope you see the value of Web Slices as a way to drive users to your applications and integrate your application into IE itself.
