Abstract
In this chapter, I review the process of preparing your Drupal site for production and the necessary steps you’ll need to take to move it. I start by discussing the need for two versions of a site, one for development purposes and one for production. I cover many useful modules for each version, including a few development tools and some nifty production tools. Next I segue into a step-by-step tutorial to copy a Drupal site using cPanel and SSH, creating a test site available at http://test.example.com. I close the chapter by showing how to configure and move this test site to production.
