Abstract
The document component of Google Docs provides you with a very powerful online word-processing application containing most of the features found in other major Microsoft Office suite word-processors. Google Docs Document allows you to create full-featured, rich documents immediately sharable in an online environment. This also saves you from taking copies of your document with you wherever you go. As long as you have access to the Web, you have access to the latest version of your document from any computer with a browser. By default, Google Docs Document saves its word-processing document online, but they can be saved to local files on your PC for local editing. Your Document files can be loaded from, or downloaded to, your local PC in Word©, OpenOffice, and other standard text formats. They can even be downloaded as PDF files to your computer, however leaving your files online gives you the versatility of being able to write once and edit anywhere.
