Abstract

In the previous chapters I introduced you to Spring, Hibernate, Flex, and BlazeDS. Finally, in this chapter, I will show you how to put all that you’ve learned together to build the usermanager application using all the technologies covered in this book. Here’s what you need to know or understand before starting:

  • Set-up of the Eclipse IDE and other development tools

  • Maven archetypes, Maven Jetty plug-in, and Maven dependencies

  • The IOC container and the Spring framework concepts

  • The ORM and Hibernate frameworks

  • Annotations

  • Flex

  • BlazeDS
