Abstract
You saw in our first two chapters that we’ve already introduced custom scripting in maps. There is a good reason we did so. Even a very simple map like our HelloWorld map is easier to create by using custom scripts. We’ll go so far as to state that complex maps cannot be completed without them. This chapter introduces some basic concepts and techniques of using custom scripts in maps.
