Mapping to or from EDI schemas brings new twists. Not only do you have to work through the kind of problems that you saw in the general mapping chapters but now you have to deal with the specific syntax conditions that the EDI standards bring to the table. On top of that, you must manipulate your maps to accommodate sometimes-quirky business rules.
