Abstract
In the last chapter, we examined a number of static methods that can be used to create items of geometry or geography data. To use any of these methods, you must supply a structured representation of the geometry that you wish to create using the WKT, WKB, or GML format. Therefore, you need to either have this representation already available or create such a representation from known coordinate values of the points in the geometry.
