Abstract

The Eclipse Forms API is an optional RCP feature that allows you to create portable, web-style UIs. Since its inception, the Forms API’s popularity has continued to grow, due to its sophis-ticated functionality and small footprint. This API gives developers a powerful tool for spicing up their rich client interfaces—without using an embedded browser. Forms allow you to retain full control of the widgets in the UI and to maintain portability across platforms.
