Abstract
In Chapter 2, I introduced the Publisher-Subscriber metaphor, which is the logical representation of replication and the various physical models of replication. But knowing the replication design alone is not enough. You need to understand the functionality and how to administer it, which means you need to know all about the different kinds of replication. This chapter discusses the replication types that you will be using.
