Abstract
The dm Server is a new-generation Java application server delivered by SpringSource, the company that wrote the Spring Framework. The dm Server is an OSGi-based Java server designed to run enterprise Java applications and Spring-powered applications with a new degree of flexibility and reliability. In general, the dm Server brings the advantages of OSGi to Java EE application development, packaging, and deployment. This chapter introduces the following topics:
