Abstract

In the previous chapter, I showed you how to load external XML content into both Flash and Flex using the URLLoader class. You saw that you can load content from a static XML file or from a server-side page that generates an XML stream. Both Flash and Flex can use the URLLoader class. The advantage of loading external content is that your applications will be more flexible than if you store the content within the application itself.
