Until now all of your example applications have used Windows Forms or console-based front ends. In this chapter, you begin to explore how the.NET platform facilitates the construction of browser-based presentation layers. To begin, you will review some basic Web atoms, including HTML, HTTP requests (POST and GET), the role of client-side scripting (using JavaScript), and classic ASP Of course, if you are already “Web aware,” feel free to skim or skip this section entirely.
