Overview

The Application object (App object) in VB 6.0 is used for getting a variety of information about your application. It is also helpful for writing to the NT Event Log. The App object is not used in .NET and there is no direct equivalent for it. Instead, you need to use an assortment of different functions scattered throughout .NET. The means of doing this is detailed in this chapter.
