Abstract

This book is a quick reference guide to help you navigate through the .NET languages. It is designed to be used by two types of programmers. The first type is a VB 6.0 programmer deciding to program in either VB .NET or C#. Deciding which language to use can be a daunting task. Being able to see each one side by side can help with this decision. Once you decide upon a particular language, learning it is easier when you can do a side-by-side comparison with VB 6.0. The second type is a programmer working in one of the .NET languages and still having to use/review code in the other language. This programmer may work in a corporate environment where programmers are writing objects written in one language that are being integrated with objects written in the other language. This book quickly translates one language into the other language without requiring you to become proficient in it.
