Abstract

Now that you’ve learned how to use all the marvelous tools, created your own graphic masterpieces, and edited your digital photographs, you’re going to want to show off your work to your friends and family. It wasn’t all that long ago when the average person could present her work to only a handful of people. Today, thanks to the Web, virtually anyone with a computer and Internet connection can publish her work for the world to see. In this chapter, we’ll look at a number of Paint Shop Pro utilities that prepare and optimize graphics for the Web:

  • Image slicing

  • Image mapping

  • File formats and image optimization tools
