Abstract
This chapter introduces you to the Integrated Development Environment (IDE), and more specifically how IDEs relate to databases. I’ll be discussing how you create database projects and how you let the various designers do the hard work for you—in other words, how you perform tasks from the IDE that you would otherwise do through code or using other external tools.
