Abstract
Throughout the book, you have been constructing what is essentially a green field1 application. There has been no legacy data to deal with, no database administrators (DBAs) are nagging you, and in general life has been good. Unfortunately, in the real world, many applications do have to be reengineered from existing sources and data.
