Abstract
Much like Thomas Edison expected doctors would be in the future, so must we be as data architects. In the logical design part of this book (the first four chapters), I discussed in quite some detail the process of defining the structure of the data the user needs to store. I did this not so you could solve problems as you observe them but rather so you can avoid problems by preventing them.
