Abstract

In the last chapter, you saw how to create custom data sources and perform data binding without placing a Data Control on a form. You saw the potential that custom data sources have for organizing all data access code into a centralized location, freeing user interface developers from the need to wade through the details of database schemas, and providing consistent access to data through a convenient interface.
