Abstract

Php stands for php hypertext preprocessor (A recursive abbreviation typical of Unix-world shenanigans). PHP is a script programming language for HTML pages. The code embedded in an HTML file is executed by the server. (The Active Server Pages of Microsoft also follow this plan.)
