Abstract

At the time of writing, Palm OS-based personal digital assistants (PDAs) still constitute better than 75 percent of the PDA market. This is a remarkable achievement for a device that many people openly mocked when it first came to market. At this point in time, it is obvious that the very reasons these people initially mocked the Palm OS wound up being the device’s true secret to success.
