Abstract

Application development using MC++ falls into two main categories:
  • New applications written with only managed components. The managed components can be written in other .NET-targeted languages such as Visual C# .NET and Visual Basic .NET.

  • New applications are written or existing applications are modified where some components are managed and some components are native. The native components can be either COM components or native C++ components that do not involve COM.
