Abstract

I pulled our car slowly into the driveway on Baker Street and squinted at the front door in an attempt to determine if this was, indeed, Wayne’s house. Pam and I had been here several times before, but the house next to Wayne’s looked similar from the outside and I always got them confused. The Morettis had invited us over for dinner, along with another couple and, as usual, we were early. I grabbed the bottle of wine we had purchased from the back seat and headed toward the front door.
