Certifying Your Application

Abstract

The most important part of your application’s development is its distribution: If it never makes it to market, you’ll never have the opportunity to recoup the development costs, let alone revel in the knowledge that others are using your application. (Or perhaps it’s the other way around....) Unlike most other platforms, where once you finish an application it’s up to you to test, package, and distribute it, the QUALCOMM BREW platform has a stringent validation process known as TRUE BREW certification to ensure your application is of the highest quality before it reaches the hands of consumers. Once your application receives TRUE BREW certification, QUALCOMM works with you to establish a pricing plan and make your applications available to carriers. It then distributes royalties for application sales to you.
