Abstract

Object Linking and Embedding (OLE—usually pronounced olé, just as you’d shout at a bullfight) is pretty much what its name says: It’s a method for linking objects and embedding one object in another. Unfortunately, knowing what the words mean individually doesn’t really give you a sense of what they mean together. To really understand the power of OLE, you must dig into it a bit and study a few examples.
