Abstract
If you’re a desktop developer switching over to mobile development, chances are that network programming is something that you seldom do, if not at all. The reason for this is that most desktop applications simply don’t require this type of functionality As a mobile developer, understanding and embracing the concepts of network programming is paramount to your success. Enhancing your skill set to include various network programming techniques is essential, because often the success of a mobile application hinges on a single item—moving data to and from a server.
