Abstract

This chapter explores Extensible Markup Language (XML) and the XML-related tools that WebSphere Studio Application Developer (WSAD) 5.0 provides. Although you should be familiar with Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) technology (and with XML in particular), this chapter introduces some important concepts of XML. Specifically, it dedicates several sections to the XML namespace.
