Abstract
In December 1992, after four years of intense study, I completed an undergraduate degree in physics from Cornell University. To say that I sacrificed more than the average student is an understatement. I was a fanatic. My dedication to physics consumed my life. When a professor yelled out, “Jump,” I replied, “Off what, sir?”
Days, nights, weekends; it doesn’t end until you die.
—David M. Lee, Cornell Physics Professor
