Abstract

The Record object is designed for use with Document Source Providers; the OLE DB Provider for Internet Publishing is the first to enable its use. Although this provider shipped with ADO 2.1, its functionality was severely limited, and it was only with the release of ADO 2.5 that all of its features were made available. The only change with version 2.6 was that the Command object can now return results into a Record.
