Abstract

To many people, the fun in geocaching is in the hunt’s thrill. But there is no chase without a quarry, and, luckily, many cachers find challenge in choosing locations and hiding containers. They might emphasize the actual visit to a beautiful spot or the challenge offered to the seeker, but all hiders get a dual satisfaction: providing for the enjoyment of others and exercising their cleverness.

“The height of cleverness is to be able to conceal it.”—Francois de La Rochefoucauld
