Abstract
It must be a law of the universe that over time most SharePoint lists will grow. At some point, you may decide that some of your lists have grown too large to work with in SharePoint. Maybe it takes you too long to scroll through the data to find the items you want. Maybe the list contains mostly obsolete data. Whatever the reason that is important to you, you know that the time has come to remove some of the older list items; but you don’t want to lose the data, just archive it in case you need it later. Perhaps you want to generate reports from the archived data. You might even want to move the data from one list in one site to another list in another site. Whatever your reason for needing to move items out of one of your SharePoint lists, Access can help you achieve your desires.
