Abstract
What this chapter covers:
-
The WPF/Silverlight improved workflow
-
Creating your first WPF application
Microsoft has addressed problems with the designer/developer workflow with WPF and Silverlight. In this chapter, I will discuss that workflow and talk about how Microsoft thinks it has come up with a solution. I will also discuss a typical way of working in WPF and Silverlight using Blend 2 and Visual Studio 2008. Finally, I am going to show you how to create your very first WPF application, “Hello World!” with a twist, literally.
