Abstract

One of the authors is fond of saying this to anybody who will listen: “The amount of fun you can have in this business should be illegal.” When it comes to connecting a web camera (webcam) to your computer and seeing what you can do in Flash, his statement takes on even more importance. It is both easy and fun to connect a web camera to a Flash movie. The only problem is that after you do it, you will discover that the creative possibilities are unlimited and that you are facing a life sentence.
