Abstract

When talking about Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and Office 2007, the conversation will most definitely include InfoPath 2007. This product is a rich client desktop application that is part of the Office system product suite. InfoPath 2007 can be used by teams and organizations to collect data in an efficient way. With InfoPath 2007, you can create rich and dynamic forms and publish them so users can fill them out and submit them. The fact that InfoPath forms are built using XML makes it very easy to share information in organizations. In this chapter, we discuss the basic principles of creating InfoPath forms and the connection between InfoPath 2007 and SharePoint 2007.
