Abstract
One of the most frequently used and misused features of Flash is the tween. Tweens are the frames between your keys and breakdowns, coldly calculated by the computer. Many animators leave too much of the work to the computer, resulting in floaty, amateurish animation often derided as “tweeny” or “Flashy.” However, properly used tweens can save time and look just as good as if you had done all the work by hand.
