Generics

Abstract

Generics have proven to be a welcome addition to VB, beginning with VB 2005. A generic class is defined by using data types as parameters, which can then be used throughout its implementation. Each generic class, when instantiated, becomes a unique type and will substitute the data types passed as parameters where used.
