LDAP and Single Sign-On


Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) provides a way of storing, querying, and modifying directory information in a hierarchical manner, using a specific protocol between an LDAP client and an LDAP server. Single sign-on (SSO) is a mechanism by which a user can log in one time and gain access to many systems.
