Abstract
In this chapter, we will extend the photo gallery to support tagging. Tags are simply keywords that are used to describe a particular object. Tagging has become hugely popular for social web applications and is a very useful way of categorizing items that makes it very easy for users to search and browse objects. Some of the most successful web sites that use tagging are Flickr.com, del.icio.us, and Amazon.com.
