Abstract
Earlier in Chapter 1, we talked about the Tight-Skins antipattern and how the formation of this antipattern can lead to long-term difficulties in modifying the look and feel of web-based applications. The Tight-Skins antipattern usually forms when the development team fails to properly separate the content and look and feel of the application into discrete components that are independent of the code rendering the unique data being presented on the page.
