Abstract
In this chapter, we discuss workload management for RAC databases. We first examine the available methods to distribute workloads across the different nodes of a cluster, and then we describe the use of database services to manage the workload across a RAC database. Database services provide a powerful mechanism with which you can visualize and control demand for resources across the entire cluster.
